Hey everybody.. again. I forgot to read the rubric which has really been the root to all my problems lately. I have finished the project and to be honest, I am not that happy with it. However, with the circumstances I was under and the tools I had to excecute this. Its not that bad. Furthermore, as I previously mentioned. All my actors bailed on the day the set was ready and I had to find people last minute, the lighting was a really BIG challange. I believe I tackled that problem pretty well. I believe that I would change the angles of the guidance counselor. However, this decisoj was made because if I did an up close, you would see the door and the bathroom where a part of the rape scene went down. This setting is also thanks to the fact that the office that was available to me also dropped out at last minute. Sadly, it seems in this industry people are not that reliable if there is nothing they are going to get out of it. Another thing that I absolutely hate, are the translations, that brief black between shots. I don’t know why the program did this. I tried so hard to make it smooth but it just wasn’t working out. AND THE SOUND. I don’t even want to talk about the sound . SUCH A HASSLE..OH MY. Lip syncing and Laying it over. RIP. ALSO adding the tittles ... it lowered the quality of my video and took a long time. I’m otherwords, I feel like I could have done better but, from what I made I am proud I guess.

Hello beautiful people.... Im tired. Its late. Did you know sea shells are the protective covering of oysters, clams and muscles. They shed there shell like a snake ish ( probably not but thats just me assuming). Anyways I just thought that was a cool fact to share.. because no two shells are the same. They have there own print ( again me assuming and trying to be inspirational). I just thought that was so beautiful. #springbreak .. This is what happens when my brain is on a break for too long... it over analyzes everything. EVERYTHING.
 This is why I didn't want to start editing.. I know it sounds like an excuse but... it is. I know if i started I would overthink every single decision and change and rechange it. Its kind of like that theory ( idk if its a theory, a quote or idk but i heard it somewhere) when you have more time you are less efficient and when you have less time well magic happens OR thats just my brain trying to avoid the inevitable decision... I DON'T KNOW WHAT EDITING PROGRAM TO USE
This blog is about deciding what editing software to use.. I want to use wevideo but in order to use it I would have to download all my footage on to my computer and then upload that to wevedio. However, if i use iMovie, i can do everything on my phone BUT iMovie reduces the quality of my videos.... SOOOO IDK WHAT TO DO. I am going to have to purchase an external hard drive and pass all my pictures on to there so i can actually have some space on my computer!!! This was also a problem with the music video project but i had just enough space. I should have seen this coming. WAIT .. I HAVE THOUGHT OF A SOLUTION. could i possibly upload from my phone to we video and edit on my computer. OK I AM GOING TO TRY THAT NOW. PEACE OUT GIRL SCOUTS.

HEY GUYS !!!! so it’s been a FAT MINUTE or at least it feels like that. Anywayssss. How was my spring break ? Welll short.

Anywaayssss pt.2

A LOT HAS HAPPENED.
The actresses I had to replace my other actress that left for spring break .. got a sunburn and .. could not film. Um. She told me the same day I was going to film btw. Like 30 minutes before she was supposed to go. I’m fine. I called a bunch of people, did a little bribing and got twi girls and the inital two boys #reliable.
Anyways I filmed the party scene and THE LIGHTING WAS WAY TOO DARK. I used a lamp to light up the scene when I go to edit, I am going to try a tint or something. I think it’s better to see them dancing than the red light lol.
ALSO .. as I had previously stated. John is now a woman
Yay
Other than that yeah. I finished filming so at least I will turn something in ...
I feel I was to ... how do you say. Ambitious
In the sense that I don’t have the proper tools to really deliver what I wanted to. My phone has very bad quality, however, it’s what I know to use the best so I guess that’s a plus.
Anyways..

HEEEEYYOOKO, ok so I figured out the lighting, glad I did that before the day I filmed... TOOK ME A FAT MINUTE- long time. I think it looks pretty cool, you can see my whole process in my little vlog below.. warning it’s a tad cringy.. but that’s fine. I guess

Ok so I tested the light machine thing, ball and it does give the party vibe but not enough. I think I am either going to buy another one or maybe just reflect red light or something using a projector type thing I have. Possibly I will only use the first ball because In most of the shots you don’t see much background.

Ok moving on.

It has been confirmed that all my actors can film on Tuesday, so that day I am going to film the party scene. However, I don’t know what to do with the office scene. I have to talk to my actress.. I STILL NEED TO GET THE POSTERS. IM A MESSSSSSSSSSS BRUH. Ok... I have to go talk to my actress and get some posters and make a group chat ok.. sport for this short blog. Keep you updated. PEACE

Yellloooo... So AGAIN... I FORGOT TO POST THIS. Its fine, were fine. This is my completed, revised, edited, FINAL script. How excited are we. VERYYYYYY.  I actually really like the overall turn out of my script. It looks so professional ( Insert Cardi B's OKKURR). 

Ok so I am going to forward this to my new actress and actor. My new actresses name is Sofia Mendoza and as for my new actor, I think I am going to change his to a girl. However, I will keep you updated on this. I want to change it to a girl because when I was trying to answer the CCR question about how my film challenges social conventions.. I was stumped. The stereotype is that men are "numb" to this situation but women also are, like John , cold, heartless and misogynistic.

My actress is leaving on spring break so is my actor and for some reason... I thought the due date was April 14th.. don’t ask why. I think I have a mental disorder (ok to far). Anyways... I was planning doing it after spring break and we’ll that plan plummeted.

SCHEDULE WHEN I DO FIND NEW ACTORS:
 Spring break:
Monday - prepare/ make party scene and open space on computer
Tuesday - film the party scene  (inital edits)
Wensday- film the office scene (inital edits)
Thursday- if I need to refilm or want to film something extra
Friday- final edits

My brother? ...  no he is in college
my other friend? ... she can’t act for her life
TAYLOR !? ... yesss, she is in drama, can act and can cry OMG

OH YEAH UPDATE

Since I don’t have actors I can’t film the office scene with my teacher, I think I have to use either my mom or dads office and them. I think it would be cool to use a women... challenge the stereotype.

Ok so I called my mom to see if I could use her office and of course talked about my stress and she has flipping actors for me.

YELLLLOOOO .... OK SO. I FOUND THE COSTUME FOR THE PART WHERE (ok why am I writing in caps) valarie talks to the college counselor. So as I previously mentioned, I wanted it to be black, sad, portray the idea that she is in a bad place mentally, emotionally and physically. I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS ALLOWED BUT RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN JAJA.so here is a quick vid of me and my actress going through target looking for her costume. ENJOY. 

So as you could see, I ended up choosing a grey t-shirt with a long black cardigan and leggings. I like how they are dark tones however it’s not all black. I realized throughout this endeavor that this was not a good idea ( all black) . Next step, try out and find make up look. I am thinking purple under the eyes to show she hasn’t slept and maybe even  mascara stains to show she has been crying. STAY TUNEDDDD
